Returns:

Your Satisfaction is top priority. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase from ModernTribe. If you have a question or concern about returns -- call or Contact Us -- we will be happy to help!

If you are unhappy with your purchase, simply return the item(s) to us within 30 calendar days of receipt and we'll be happy to issue an exchange or refund.
If an item is damaged, defective, or if you received the wrong item, please contact us within 5 business days of receipt and we will issue you a return postage label. Call us at 877-324-1818 or Contact Us to notify us of the return and request a postage label to be emailed to you.
Special Order items are final sale and cannot be returned unless an item is damaged or defective.
If you are returning an item for any other reason, please ensure the item is new, unused, and with all its parts, accessories, and packaging in order to receive full credit.
Pack the item securely in the original packaging.
Enclose the original packing slip with the item.
We recommend packages valued $50+ be shipped with tracking and insurance.
You can expect a refund in the same form as the original payment within 5 business days of us receiving your returned item.
You will be refunded for the purchase price of the items returned. Your original shipping cost will not be refunded unless the return is for a damaged or defective item or item received in error.
Yes! We will gladly exchange a gift or give your gift recipient a store credit.

Free Gift Note

We will happily add a note to your recipient at no charge. Choose the gift option during checkout and then enter your note. The packing slip will also have your name but no price information will be included.

Gift Wrapping is $4.95 For Most Items

Yes, we offer gift-wrapping! Gift wrapping options will be presented to you during checkout. Gift wrapping rates are $4.95 and up. If you'd like to wrap a number of items together, simply order gift wrap for one item and tell us in the order Checkout Notes (on the final checkout page) what you want wrapped together.

Gift Delivery & Returns

Your gift will be delivered with a packing slip with no price information. Your name will appear as the billing name on the packing slip so your recipient will know who to thank. (You may also include a gift note for free.)

Yes! We will gladly exchange a gift or give your gift recipient a store credit. Return instructions and contact information is included on the packing slip.

Shipping:

Ground Shipping: US Addresses (Read About Canada & International Shipping)

90% of our products are in stock and ship from our warehouse in Atlanta, GA. GROUND shipping to the Continental US, is a flat rate of $7.95 per ship-to address.

Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, and Intra Oahu are a flat rate of $17.95, for most packages.

GROUND shipping is through FedEx Ground, UPS Ground or USPS Priority Mail. We have an integrated automatic shipment notification which includes a tracking number. If you did not get a tracking number, contact us and we will email it to you.

Allow 5-7 business days for Ground Shipments to arrive. If you need your items faster, please choose Express Shipping.

GROUND is charged per "ship to" location so, for example, if you are mailing some things to yourself and a gift to a different address, you will be charged the GROUND shipping based on the subtotal for each "ship to" address.

We reserve the right to charge additional shipping fees for certain products or excessive poundage. This is unusual. You will probably be able to tell when a package is going to be so big or so heavy we will need to adjust your shipping charge.

Time for Delivery through Ground Shipping: US Addresses

Please allow 5-7 business days for receipt of GROUND shipped items. *** With a holiday rush, ground packages can in fact take 5-7 business days *** Yes, GROUND may be faster but it sometimes does take a full seven business days. If you must get a package by a certain date, choose expedited, guaranteed delivery.

** If you order after 1 PM EST on Friday, your package will ship out on Monday morning.**

To give you an estimate of the number of business days (M-F) that ground shipping will take, you can use this map from FedEx Ground. Add a day for packing:

Example 1: Shipping ground to New York. Map indicates two days ship time + one day for packing = 3 days. You order on Tuesday, your package ships Wednesday, it could arrive as soon as Friday. Again, this is not guaranteed. *** During the holiday season, allow 5-7 business days!

Example 2: Shipping ground to Los Angeles. Map indicates four days ship time + one day for packing = 5 days. You order on Tuesday, your package ships Wednesday, it could arrive as soon as Tuesday. Again, this is not guaranteed. *** During the holiday season, allow 7 business days!

Expedited Shipping: US Addresses

If you must get a package by a certain date, choose expedited, guaranteed delivery. The exact cost is based on package weight and zipcode and will be calculated for you during checkout. We offer different expedited shipping options:

Standard Overnight (delivery by next business evening) -- $35+
First Overnight (delivery by next business morning), and -- $45+
Express 2 Day (2 business days) -- $20-$30
Express Saver 3 Day (3 business days) -- $15-$25

Choose expedited shipping options during checkout and costs will be calculated for you there. Express Saver 3 Day is usually between $15-$25 and is the most economical express, guaranteed delivery method we offer.

Please note: Express Shipments will ship out the same day if they are made before 5 PM EST M-Th, 1 PM EST on Fridays. If you are making an Express Shipment after these hours, the package will go out the next business day. DAYS ARE BUSINESS DAYS. EXPRESS SHIPMENTS ARE NOT DELIVERED ON SATURDAY OR SUNDAY.

Overnight Delivery: US Addresses Only

Standard Overnight is delivery by the next business evening. First Overnight is delivery by 10:30 AM, the next business day. Charge for Overnight is calculated for you during checkout and is usually $35 or more.

If you choose Overnight Delivery after 5 PM on Thursday, your package will ship Friday but will be delivered on the next business day, which will be Monday. If you must have Saturday delivery, please call us and we can adjust your shipping charge for Saturday delivery (this is expensive).

International Shipping

Canada

GROUND shipments to Canada are by USPS Priority International and cost about $22.95. The exact price is based on weight and address and will be calculated for you during checkout. We are simply charging you what it costs us for postage to ship to Canada. You can check USPS postage rates here for Priority Mail International - in a box. We do not ship first class, as there is no tracking. USPS Priority International is the most economical way to get packages to you with tracking.

United States Post Office can take about 10 business days to most locations. But it may take longer. Also, your shipment may have to clear customs which may cause additional delay. And, yes, sometimes people get charged customs on shipments which is your responsibility to pay (sorry about this!). Also, please note, we cannot offer paid return postage for International shipments.

We now offer Express International Shipping via FedEx International: Economy, Priority, and First. Cost will be calculated for you during checkout. These Express International Shipping methods are very expensive, sorry!

World-Wide International

We do ship world-wide, GROUND international shipments will be through USPS Priority International, which is the only reasonably priced international shipping option. The cost is about $28, but the exact cost will be calculated for you during checkout and is based on weight and address. United States Post Office can take about 10 business days to most locations. But it may take longer. Also, your shipment may have to clear customs which may cause additional delay. And, yes, sometimes people get charged customs on shipments which is your responsibility to pay (sorry about this!). Also, please note, we cannot offer paid return postage for International shipments.
