ModernTribe.com's mission is to make Jewish items and Judaica more appealing and accessible to a younger generation of Jews. "Season after Hanukkah season we would search, hopeful to find cool, new Hanukkah decorations at the local Judaica shop," the owners say on the Web site. "Yet, after wading through a sea of blue and gold paper goods and dolls singing in Yiddish, we began to wonder if these items were the Hanukkah equivalent to the Christmas fruitcake!" One example of the company's take on design is its Svivos collectible graphic dreidels at $16. It's not too soon to plan ahead for the holiday!
