City Zoo Print by Idan Shani

Idan Shani's work is engaging, slightly disturbing, and entirely modern. Much of the work you see here on Moderntribe has been included in European and Israeli magazines and exhibitions. City Zoo is graphic art printed on a large 3 1/4 foot square canvas.  The piece was included at the "Sorry for the Inconvenience" Tel Aviv exhibition motivated by, what Idan calls, "the constant noise from the streets and apartments of Tel Aviv."  Tel Aviv's City Hall is surrounded by animals making their welcome in the middle of the bustling metropolis.
