Michael Aram Pomegranate Seder Plate -- A Place For An Orange

Thoughts?
See All Michael Aram

With SEVEN bowls on the seder plate, this special design by Michael Aram, allows for an orange, too. The tradition of the orange on the seder plate began in the 1980s when Susannah Heschel added one to signify the inclusion of lesbians and gay men in synagogue life. Today, the orange stands for inclusion of lesbians, gay men, and all people in Jewish life. SIZE: 11" x 10.5"; Stainless Steel, Oxidized Bronze.

Each Michael Aram metal object undergoes a series of grinding, buffing and polishing techniques. Variations or 'imperfections' in the product's finish are characteristic of the creation process. Due to this handmade nature, no two pieces are ever exactly alike.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Stainless Steel, Oxidized Bronze

Not recommended for the dishwasher. Hand wash with a soft sponge, mild soap and water. Do not soak, even in plain water, or leave unwashed overnight. Dry immediately with a soft cloth to avoid spots. Avoid any detergent with lemon or other acidic agents. Do not use abrasive cleaners, steel wool or scouring pads that can scratch and dull metal surfaces. As with all metals, never place in microwave oven.
