This spectacular matzah plate is inspired by sea views of the Tel Aviv harbor. Laura Cowan uses hidden magnets to fit the sculptural pieces together, allowing the steel shapes to be moved to change the personality of the piece. Created in high-quality polished stainless steel, the top pieces are hand curved into gentle waves and are attached to the base by hidden neodymium magnets. Besides matzah, the modular bowl can be used to hold fruit, arranging the waves to contain the fruit, or as a Chanukiah, subtly hiding the tea lights between pairs of waves.
