Purim starts Saturday, February 23, 2013 at sundown.
Purim is Judaism's most joyous holiday. It is actually a mitzvah (good deed) to feast and get drunk on this day. It's also a mitzvah to give food to your friends and charity to the poor. It's traditional to dress in costume and eat hat-shaped cookies. What's not to like about Purim?
