A great majority of Jurek’s time is spent scouting female-owned factories in economically underdeveloped areas where her company can make positive social change through creating jobs for local villagers, particularly the oft enexploited young women. The company takes great pride in the fact that all products are hand-made by artisans throughout the world with direct creative input from and oversight by Founder Mary Jurek.
