Featuring beautifully designed tab dividers and an easy-to-use binder format, the Rag & Bone Bindery Recipe Journal can be customized with moveable recipe pages and plastic sleeves for 4x6 recipe cards. The book begins with About the Chef, a place to fill in thoughts on earliest cooking memories, inspirational chefs, and more. Each two-sided printed Recipe Page included the basics such as ingredients and preparation, but also includes notes such as seasonal variations.
In the spirit of sharing food with your nearest and dearest, the back of each Recipe Page includes a special place to record your photos or memories from the table. The back of the book includes sleeves to hold your own 4 x 6 printed recipes (such as from Epicurious, etc)

Skilled Bookbinders
Rag & Bone has been binding books for almost 20 years. Every aspect of the binding process is handled in their bookbinding studio. Raw materials such as board, papers and designer textiles are sourced from local vendors and trained bookbinders carefully turn these materials into quality books which will last a lifetime. Founder Jason Thompson has written two books on bookbinding and journaling.
Handmade
Each book is created solely by hand: the fabrics and papers are cut by hand, the boards (covers) are glued and wrapped by skilled bookbinders. Rag & Bone Albums are each drilled and sewn by hand one-at-a-time, and our journals and other bindings are assembled using tradtional bookbinding tools and techniques.
Archival
They use acid-free papers for all of books. And just as important, our skilled bookbinders create books which are well-bound, and made to last.
