The sterling silver disc is hand etched with a bird in flight and hung on a black leather cord. Handmade by Marla Patinkin, a Rhode Island School of Design metalsmith. The pendant is .7" round. The black leather cord is 16".

Marla wrote ModernTribe saying, "I'm making the Jewish jewelry I've always wanted to see, but never did."  Her work in oxidized silver is inspired by prayers written in ancient Babylon as well as timeless motifs of branches against the sky and birds in flight.
